At the eve of the meeting, a video on Just Transition in Bangladesh presented and started the meeting by this presentation as well. Ms. Saki Rezwan, Chair of OSHE welcomed the participants and presented a short speech on just transition to the participant. Then Mr. Felix Kolbitz, Resident Representative, FES delivered his speech highlighted in FES interventions in
Bangladesh, collaboration with OSHE and the importance and issues of Just transition.
Mr. Rpon Chowdhury, Executive Director of OSHE made a multimedia presentation on Initiatives for Just Transition in Bangladesh 2022. In the open discussion, representative from ILO Bangladesh, Solidarity Center Bangladesh and workers organizations debated on the issue. The meeting was moderated by S.M. Morshed.
