Campaign for Just Transition
It is now well recognized that, global warming and climate change have adverse effect on employment, income and social protection of workers in many sectors of Bangladesh i.e. agriculture, fishery, riverside industries, transport and informal economy. Making workplace sustainable and climatic risk-free is the key to make jobs and prodductivity sustainable and the national workers organizations have a great role to play on promoting environmentally sustainable jobs at national level and the important vehicle in this mission is "Green Jobs Actions-a just transition to low carbon economy. And it is often encapsulated in the slogan “No Worker Left Behind!”
